1.75 / 2.0 Progress {Tech}


The latest release is underway,  however due to some personal issues, it's taken much longer than I would have liked. 
That doesn't mean I haven't been working , however. Rather than do absolutely nothing, I've been building a social media presence as well as working on miscellaneous aspects of the project.


In all, here's the following list of improvements since last time.

  1. Added sound management system (simple).
  2. Added benefits to bathing (restore fatigue and stamina).
  3. Added some sound effects to a few past scenes.(2)
  4. Reconfigured xp needed to improve bonds for all vixens. This will not affect older players, but newer ones. Shifted bond events to the chat option and made bonding strictly a method for improving affection rapidly.
  5. Chatting gives 1 xp, while bonding gives 2.
  6. Affection still boosts the amount of xp you can gain (100% or higher).
  7. Consolidated Fira code (backend stuff).
  8. Fixed the replay gallery (backend changes for stability).
  9. Changed the navigation menu buttons and added a preferences button to the menu.
  10. Fixed various return links to the navi menu / game. They didn’t perform as I expected and could have led to black screen issues or glitches.
  11. New character (Fae) created. Renders done for 2 events involving her.
  12. Fairy feature added to backend. (Collecting fairies rewards you with resources, XP of various types and occasional events). Need to add actual events to the game plus interaction.
  13. Set up the elemental bullets. Elemental bullets can be used in battle. 
  14. Fixed an issue with defeat (defeats would not reset social bonds and chatting).
  15. Events now offer experience towards leveling up as well.
  16. Fixed an issue with the affection modifier, it wasn’t being applied properly.
  17. Fixed an issue with nap benefits from Ryoko. Also raised the chance of Ryoko naps to 50% up from 25%.
  18. Battle is more responsive after some tweaks.
  19. Added some visual indicators for battle so that you can tell when you’re able to fire and when your weapon is reloading.
  20. Fixed an issue where you had tower upgrades unlocked earlier than story events (my testing slip ups).
  21. Updated the look of the gallery screen and vixen screen.
  22. Updated the text buttons to image buttons in a few places.(4-5)
  23. Recalibrated alchemy and training xp requires and changed the amounts gained for each action.
  24. Did away with many of the lesser benefits for leveling up that created issues (excessive gains on the # of searches you could have, for example).
  25. Simplified  training for the game, requiring much less XP to raise the training and alchemy levels.
  26. Also removed the “training intensity”, as I felt it was needlessly complicated and unneeded after simplifying the training.
  27. Lowered the cost of all tower perks and made them easier to handle on the backend (simplified pricing, screen placement, etc).
  28. Added a new training stat (magic). Teachable by Pichi after learning about some magic.
  29. Added some chapter management code (backend).
  30. Added new social interaction buttons (bigger, easier to read).
  31. Revamped the Fast Travel (visually, some code elements).
  32. Fixed an issue with bathing sending you to a weird black screen.
  33. Fixed an error with inventory. [backend]
  34. Tweaked the # of events that can be viewed per day (up to 4).
  35. Expanded the codebase for the Zones in game. [backend]
  36. Expanded the code base for the Locations in the game.
  37. Revamped the hom status screen a bit more, especially in terms of the lewd replays. Added backend code to better manage memories and events for this as well.
  38. Added placeholders for future homs and began the process of segmenting the Hom’s information
  39. Improved the Cross Cards section and added a few affiliate or self proclaimed interesting games there aside from my own work.
  40. Created a mailing list for lewd games. My wish is to update it  monthly and improve the visibility of other games.
  41. Changed the overall GUI for the game to something a bit lighter.
  42. Added the ability to exclude some items from being gifted or duplicated. The added Lunar Pill to that item list.
  43. Fixed some issues with Lunar Pill dupe glitch.
  44. Added Ziphyr and Pichi to the vixens page.
  45. Fixed the training button.
  46. Made training a bit more convenient.
  47. Added mass deletion mechanics.
  48. Battle more responsive.
  49. Fixed a few random event triggers
  50. Implemented Fae collection. Collecting Fae rewards the player with magicite, xp (10% of amount needed to level) and eventually leads to Fae events.
  51. Added extra info to fast travel screen.
  52. Enhance the story points to support hints.
  53. Add some extra flags, to make sure Kink events and other like events don’t play back to back. .RANDOM, .KINK,.ROOM
  54. Add text on the battle screen that shows which Gun-Mode you’re using as well as which Tactic you’re using.
  55. Try to remove the lag for clicking during battles.
  56. Can bathe from the bed menu.
  57. Improved main story tracking and added extra guidance related to the main story.
  58. Made it easier to advance the story in some instances.
  59. Set up a foundation for improving vixen story keeping.
  60. Configured Fira and Pichi’s personal stories. For older saves you may have to advance the events with a vixen before the current information in the story tab will update. New players shouldn’t have a problem.
  61. Stamina Pot was not working correctly (effects). This has been sorted.
  62. Added gift traits to all crafted items. From here on out, you won’t need to use the "make gifts" button, you can give away crafted items to each vixen. This allows you to match up your gifts with their likes and dislikes.
  63. Gifting has been slightly revamped and now works as intended.
  64. Gifting a vixen something with a gift trait that is liked will raise that vixen’s maximum affection by 1% per trait. Loved gift traits will increase by 2%. Disliked traits will decrease by 2, the cap is 100 minimum, 300 maximum. (meaning extra xp towards bonds the higher you can raise the maximum).
  65. Fixed visuals for Stamina Drink and some of the other recipes. Older saves won’t register a change at current.
  66. Effects of training have been tripled and training can only be done once a day per npc.
  67. Fixed minor issue with vixen events not triggering properly.
  68. Changed the appearance of the traits screen a bit.
  69. Upgraded the kinks system to allow for viewing of past events based on your interests.
  70. Added Foot Events to Kink Events. (prev)
  71. Added Maid Events to Kink Events (prev)
  72. Added Hose Events to Kink Events (prev)
  73. Added Anal Events to Kink Events( prev)
  74. New backgrounds for the Gift page (customized).
  75. New backgrounds for pre-training.
  76. Added Melon Core data.
  77. Added Hom Core data and recipe.
  78. Added 2 new monsters, 1 of which is boss. (Melon Master, Melon Monster)
  79. Re-tooled the speed of shots for shotgun and rifle.
  80. Increased pistol damage slightly.
  81. Decreased the amount of damage you can block while in recovery mode.
  82. Removed stamina drain as a factor of combat.

There's some story here, but for now I will keep it as a surprise.
